Our purpose as a business is to take away the barriers to recommending and selling protection, so no-one is left financially vulnerable from the death of a loved one or ill health.

We’ve been offering protection quoting and administration services since 1991, with the belief that protection should be as simple as possible, for advisers and their clients.

Core Mortgages have used LifeQuote since 2014. We find their tele-interview and case management services enable us to focus on servicing more clients. Whilst LifeQuote handle the protection admin, we are able to grow our mortgage and protection business.

I am looking at ways in which our business can present insurance quotes etc to our clients in a user-friendly manner. Our advisers signed up for Smart Compare have significantly increased their protection conversions.

The Post-Covid World means that a broker's work load is even bigger than it was before (and that was pretty big!). LifeQuote is an absolute boon. Service levels are great and you’re kept fully informed on progress. Client feedback has also been very good. The biggie for me is Decision in Principle, where we can (anonymously) enter clients' health and activities and get a prelim decision from our panel of providers. It’s really useful for clients who might be edging towards 'non-standard’.

LifeQuote have proved to be a breath of fresh air. Our advisers are great at speaking with clients, identifying needs and making recommendations, but the reality is they get uncomfortable talking through the nitty gritty of a client’s medical history and the risk of non-disclosure is always an excuse as to why brokers don’t like selling protection. LifeQuote takes away all the ‘excuses’ so brokers can focus on what they are great at – giving advice! As a result, our protection numbers are on the rise which means we are protecting more clients, and getting more revenue, a win / win for all concerned.

The system is brilliant because it’s built into SolutionBuilder, so you can pull clients’ personal details across and then send the information straight to LifeQuote. Instead of wasting my client manager’s time chasing GP reports, I’d rather pay the fee and let LifeQuote pick it up, with regular updates on progress and then terms. Decision in Principle is good because you can fill in a couple of details in and it automatically sends out pre-sales enquiries to everyone, with all responses coming back into the mail box. It saves time and effort.
